Warranties typically include a manufacturer’s warranty on materials (coverage and length vary by product and may require proper installation and registration) and a contractor’s workmanship warranty for labor (length and terms vary by company). Get all warranty terms in writing and keep manufacturer documentation and proof of installation for future warranty claims.
